Breeding the drive, size, and muscle you see in a working Giant Schnauzer into a dog that will also excel in AKC conformation, and be of the upmost health and vigor. Yes, you can have it all! Our pups make wonderful family pets, working dogs, and excellent therapy/service dogs. Parents are WORKING DOGS on our FARM. We health test our parents for VWB, THYROID, HIPS and EYES. We also champion title many of our adults in conformation. Breeding for protective nature and drive to work.
PUPPY DEPOSIT, PURCHASE & HEALTH GUARANTEE
PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING A PAYMENT
Always call before making any payment. This is important because I need to make sure the puppy you are interested in is still available, make sure a Giant Schnauzer is the right fit for your family, confirm your payment method, and watch for your payment to arrive.
If you have any questions about the payment process, please call me. I am happy to walk you through it.
Tina: 816-866-6104
Please take the time to read this entire page and every page of our website before sending a payment, including our Puppy Care, Training, Grooming, Ear Crop Care, Blog, and all other pages. Giant Schnauzers are wonderful dogs, but they are large, intelligent, protective working dogs that require training, socialization, exercise, grooming, and individual attention. I want you to be completely comfortable with the breed and with our policies before you commit to a puppy.
When you complete our Puppy Purchase Form, you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agree to our entire website and to the Puppy Health Guarantee/Purchase Contract below. Selecting YES confirms your agreement. There is no need to print, sign, scan, and return this contract. You may print a copy for your own records or for your veterinarian if you wish.
ABOUT THE GIANT SCHNAUZER
The Giant Schnauzer is the largest of the Schnauzer breeds. An average female is generally around 55–75 pounds and an average male around 60–85 pounds, although some Giants can mature to 100–110 pounds or more. We do not guarantee adult size. Many of our puppies have matured 20 pounds or more above the breed averages commonly listed.
A Giant Schnauzer is generally similar in overall size to a German Shepherd or an average-sized Doberman, although Giants can be heavier boned and more heavily built. They are not normally the size of an extra-large breed such as a Great Dane or very large Rottweiler.
This breed is loyal, intelligent, protective, and very trainable, but puppies can also be rambunctious and have strong working and herding instincts. Training and socialization need to begin early. I strongly recommend that you arrange for a professional master trainer who has experience with large working breeds before your puppy even comes home. A Giant Schnauzer is not a dog that should simply be allowed to grow up without consistent training.
Please be sure you want the commitment of owning a very large working dog before placing a deposit. We are looking for forever homes.
$500 DEPOSIT
Our deposit is $500 and normally goes toward the purchase price of your puppy.
Deposits are non-refundable. A deposit is forfeited if the buyer changes their mind, decides a Giant Schnauzer is no longer suitable, or backs out of the purchase before or after choosing a specific puppy. So make sure you want a puppy from us before sending a deposit.
If the puppy you placed a deposit on is never born, dies, becomes seriously ill, or is no longer fit for sale while in our care, your deposit may be moved to another puppy or future litter. If there is not another litter available within a reasonable amount of time, I the breeder/seller may choose to return your deposit rather than leave you waiting indefinitely.
Because we are holding a place for you and turning away other potential buyers, please do not place a deposit unless you are serious about bringing one of our puppies into your family. If ever your family life changes and you need to place your deposit on hold until the situation clears up, (within a reasonable amount of time), don’t hesitate to ask.
Always call before sending a deposit so we can confirm availability and go over the current process with you.
IMPORTANT — HOW OUR DEPOSIT LIST WORKS
THE APRIL 11, 2026 POLICY CHANGE
We changed the way puppy selection is handled beginning April 11, 2026. Because some families placed deposits under our previous system, I want to make this transition extremely clear so nobody is confused about choosing priority.
IF YOU PLACED YOUR DEPOSIT BEFORE APRIL 11, 2026
If you placed your deposit before April 11, 2026, you were originally told that puppy selection would be handled by going down the deposit list individually, starting with the earliest deposits.
I will honor that previous agreement.
Those buyers will have their opportunity to choose according to the previous first-deposit/first-choice system during the transition. I will work through those earlier deposits first.
AFTER THE EARLIER DEPOSITS HAVE BEEN GIVEN THEIR CHOOSING OPPORTUNITY
Once the buyers who were on the list under the old policy have had their opportunity to choose, I will move to the new system.
Under the new system, the applicable people remaining on the deposit list will receive one TIME TO CHOOSE email/text at approximately 5 weeks of age at the same time.
The new system is essentially:
First person to reply with their choice gets the available puppy they selected.
The puppies that remain available after approximately 72 hours will then be made available to the public.
VERY IMPORTANT
The new bulk-email system does NOT mean that every person currently on the deposit list automatically has the same choosing priority.
If you placed your deposit before April 11, 2026, your previous first-deposit/first-choice agreement is being honored during this transition.
New deposits placed on or after April 11, 2026 are subject to the new bulk-email system.
Eventually, everyone on the deposit list will be handled under the new bulk-email system, but I must first honor the choosing arrangement that was promised to people who placed their deposits under the previous policy.
I know this change can be confusing, so if you are unsure where you fall in the process, please call me and I will be happy to explain it.
TOP-QUALITY VS. PET-QUALITY PUPPIES & PRICE
Our current pricing is simple: $3,000 for pet-quality puppies and $3,500 for top-quality puppies
Top quality is a puppy that shows no major faults at time of sale. They are $3500.
A pet-quality puppy can still be a wonderful, beautiful, healthy Giant Schnauzer. Pet quality simply means the puppy may have a fault or characteristic that makes him/her less appropriate for breeding or AKC conformation purposes, such as but not limited to undescended testicle, runt stature, imperfect bite…
If you specifically want a FULL AKC puppy for possible conformation showing or breeding, please tell me this when you place your deposit. I will need to approve you for that. Otherwise ALL pups leave with limited AKC no matter their quality or price.
A puppy with a small amount of white on the chest is not automatically pet quality. There have been many grand champions with some white on the chest. If having absolutely no white is important to you, please tell me when placing your deposit and remind me when selecting your puppy.
If you purchase a $3,000 puppy and later decide you want Full AKC registration, you can contact us to see if the dog is quality enough for a change to full akc. If we decide it is and you are aproved for it, you would need to pay the additional $500 for that.
Ear cropping and transportation are additional costs.
We do not sell breeding dogs to commercial breeders. Small hobby breeders and families interested in conformation showing may contact us to discuss whether a puppy is appropriate.
THE 3-PUPPY REFUSAL POLICY
This policy does not apply when you wanted a puppy but missed out because there were not enough puppies available.
I want our deposit list to keep moving so that families who are ready for a puppy are not waiting behind someone who repeatedly does not want to choose.
If I offer you an appropriate puppy of the sex you requested, you may choose that puppy or choose to wait. You have 3 opportunities to decline an appropriate puppy offer.
After you have been offered an appropriate puppy of your requested sex three times and decline each opportunity, you will be removed from the deposit list and your deposit will be forfeited.
This also applies if you simply do not respond to the TIME TO CHOOSE message. An offer was still made even if you did not return my email or text.
I will tell you when I am beginning to count your refusals.
If you know you will not be ready for a puppy for a while, simply tell me. I can make a note to wait until a particular date before I begin offering puppies to you.
HOW YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR PUPPY
You have three options.
You may visit the puppies and choose one yourself, subject to the choosing order that applies to you.
You may have me choose a puppy for you based on what you tell me you want in a puppy. If you ask me to make the selection for you, you cannot later decide that you do not want the puppy simply because you changed your mind. If you reject a puppy that I selected for you according to your requested preferences, your deposit and other payments may be forfeited.
Or, you may choose from the puppies I send you in your TIME TO CHOOSE message or from puppies that have been made available on our website.
At approximately 5–6 weeks, puppies are individually photographed and microchipped, and applicable buyers will receive information so they can make their selection.
Once puppies are released for public sale, they are sold on a first-payment basis. If two people attempt to purchase the same puppy, the first valid payment received gets the puppy. The other payment may be returned or transferred to another available or future puppy.
ONCE YOU CHOOSE YOUR PUPPY
Once you have selected a puppy and your deposit has been received and cleared, we will hold that puppy for you.
If your puppy is being shipped, the remaining balance is due when the puppy is 6 weeks old. This gives us time for payments to clear and allows time for veterinary requirements and transportation arrangements.
If you are picking your puppy up in person, the remaining balance should be paid in cash at pickup at approximately 8 weeks, unless another arrangement has been made.
If a puppy you are purchasing is already over 6 weeks old and will need transport, payment in full is due immediately.
Please remember that once we are holding a puppy for you, other families may be turned away. If you change your mind, contact us immediately.

HEALTH GUARANTEE / PURCHASE CONTRACT
We previously had people sign and return this contract. I decided to simplify it because many buyers found it confusing and some did not have a way to print, scan, and return it. Now the purchase form you will fill out has a check box that asks you if you have read and agree to this contract.
The important terms are provided below in one place.
By purchasing a puppy from us, you agree to this Health Guarantee/Purchase Contract and to every page of our website.
Before making any payment, please read everything carefully and contact us with questions.
GENERAL HEALTH GUARANTEE
The seller agrees that the puppy is in good physical condition at the time of transfer.
Your puppy should be examined by your veterinarian within 3 business days of receiving the puppy.
If your veterinarian discovers during this initial examination that the puppy has a severe condition that our veterinarian missed and that makes the puppy substantially different from the quality represented at purchase, the puppy may be returned under the applicable terms of this guarantee.
For a qualifying initial major defect, the remedy may be a replacement puppy or refund of the purchase price, with the specific remedy determined by the seller according to the circumstances and applicable guarantee.
After this initial examination period, the health guarantee is primarily limited to life-threatening genetic defects as described below.
If something happens that is not life-threatening, please contact us anyway. We will always try to work with you fairly and professionally whenever possible.
LIFE-THREATENING GENETIC DEFECTS
If a puppy develops a life-threatening genetic defect before one year of age, we will provide a replacement puppy when you are ready for another puppy, subject to the terms of this guarantee.
The seller’s veterinarian will determine whether the condition qualifies as a life-threatening genetic defect, including the severity and prognosis, after reviewing the buyer’s veterinary records and consulting with the buyer’s veterinarian.
The puppy’s microchip number must appear on veterinary documentation submitted for review.
All transportation and shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.
If the buyer keeps the affected puppy and requests a replacement, proof that the affected puppy has been spayed or neutered must be provided before the replacement puppy is issued.
When a puppy is returned or replaced, all applicable registration paperwork must be returned to the seller.
A replacement puppy is considered a free puppy and does not receive a new health guarantee unless specifically stated otherwise. The exception is an approved exchange involving an equivalent $3,500 puppy under the applicable major-fault guarantee.
Any replacement is dependent upon the breeder having a suitable puppy available. If the breeder is no longer breeding and therefore has no puppy available to provide, there can be no replacement.
FIRST-WEEK PARVO AND PARASITE POLICY
Parvo is covered for the first 7 days after transfer when diagnosed by an appropriate blood test within those 7 days.
If the puppy dies from Parvo during the covered period, the puppy purchase price may be refunded. Veterinary bills are not reimbursed, and a replacement puppy will not be sent into a home where a puppy has had Parvo.
If necessary to establish the cause of death for a guarantee claim, a necropsy must be performed by a state laboratory rather than only by a private veterinarian.
Parasites are covered for the first 7 days after transfer. If a parasite is confirmed during that period, we will send a $30 check toward deworming medication.
Puppies can continue to pick up parasites after leaving our home. If soft stools develop, have your veterinarian check for Giardia, Coccidia, worms, or other causes as appropriate. Continue monthly parasite prevention and vaccinations according to your veterinarian’s recommendations.
$3,500 TOP-QUALITY PUPPY
A $3,500 puppy, before optional additions such as ear cropping, receives an additional initial conformation-quality guarantee.
If, within 3 business days of purchase, your veterinarian identifies a major structural defect that we missed and that would disqualify the puppy from AKC conformation, the puppy may be returned for a replacement puppy under the applicable terms.
The puppy must be returned within the required time period, and all applicable registration and health records must be returned or transferred back to the breeder.
The remedy is a puppy exchange, not a cash refund.
Small faults and non-disqualifying faults are not covered.
We do not guarantee that a $3,500 puppy sold with full akc will become a champion, win in conformation, or successfully breed. Adult development, grooming, training, ear cropping and posting, handling, health, and many other factors are outside our control.
There is no such thing as a completely perfect dog. Even successful show dogs can have small faults. A good handler and groomer learns how to present the dog to its best advantage.
THINGS OUR GUARANTEE DOES NOT COVER
Our guarantee does not cover reactions to medications or vaccines, routine veterinary expenses, veterinary bills, adult size, color, temperament, coat type, future coat changes, breedability, champion status, future show success, corrective surgeries for tail or ear docking, non-life-threatening conditions, or *accidental sire.
Examples of conditions that are not covered include an undescended testicle outside the applicable initial $3,500 puppy guarantee, low-grade joint luxation, a small imperfect bite, a low-grade heart murmur, and other non-life-threatening conditions.
We also do not guarantee a specific coat color intensity or texture. Giant Schnauzer coats can naturally change as puppies mature. Black coats may contain white hairs or reddish-brown tones, and factors such as genetics, nutrition, grooming, sun exposure, environment, stress, and coat maintenance can affect appearance.
I can give you my best estimate of future coat type at approximately 5–6 weeks, but coat type is never guaranteed.
*Because we have more than one sire, an accidental breeding between our dogs is possible, although rare. All of our studs are champions and are considered quality dogs. We do not refund or replace a puppy simply because it was accidentally sired by another one of our studs. If a $3,500 (Full-AKC) puppy purchased for possible breeding and showing in conformation is affected by an accidental-sire situation, we will assist with correcting the AKC pedigree when appropriate.
EAR CROPPING
Ear cropping is an elective procedure and is not covered by our health guarantee. You MUST read the GROOMING / EAR CROP CARE page of our website under PUPPY CARE in the website menu before deciding if you want our vet to crop the ears. We prefer you get it done after you receive your pup from your own local vet, if at all possible, or leave them natural is even better in my opinion.
We do not guarantee a particular crop length, final appearance, ear standing, or that corrective surgery will never be needed. The veterinarian determines the crop he believes gives each puppy the best chance of standing properly. The veterinarian may also determine that a particular puppy’s ears are not suitable for cropping. If we have held a puppy for you and the veterinarian determines that the ears cannot be cropped, the $450 ear-crop fee will be refunded, but there is no refund of the puppy purchase price, since it is still your puppy, if you decide not to take the puppy then puppy is abandoned by you and any payments are forfeited.
After the puppy is transferred to you, all care of the cropped ears and future posting is your responsibility. Proper care is very important to prevent infection and encourage the ears to stand.
Ear cropping is painful and carries surgical risks. I personally prefer natural ears, but the decision is yours.
There is no refund if a puppy has a bad reaction, complication, or death related to this elective procedure or sickness or complications that arise from the overnight veterinary stay for ear crop.
A puppy receiving an ear crop must be paid in full before the procedure.
We do not accept credit cards or PayPal for puppies receiving ear cropping, must pay by bank wire, Zelle, or cash BEFORE EAR CROP. I will send a photo of your pup and its microchip number, (before ear crop vet drop off), so you know it is your puppy if anything unforeseen happens at vet office.
READ the Ear Crop Care page, including the information and photographs of possible crop lengths, before deciding.

Tail Docking or Natural Tail
Tail Docking: All pups have tails docked at 2 or 3 days old. IF LONG TAIL WANTED: If you want to reserve a puppy with a long tail (which is not the breed standard), you must pre pay in full for puppy before birth, and you will not get a refund if you change your mind on getting the puppy because we can not dock the tail when puppy is older, call us to discuss.
When puppies get their tail docked by us: Tail docking being the “perfect” tail dock is not guaranteed in any way because each pup is an individual and heals differently. To see how most our docked tails turn out, look at the adults and pups pictured on our website, many were done by us.
———————————————————————————————————————
BOARDING AFTER 8 WKS OF AGE
Puppies need to be picked up at 8 wks of age. Boarding is available for up to 2 wks for an additional $100 ea week. Any pup that is to be boarded must be paid for in full plus boarding cost before 8 wks of age. If puppy is not picked up on the agreed to date and other arrangements are not acceptable with breeder, then pup will be considered abandoned and will be sold to another family, no refund of any kind will be given on a pup that has been deemed abandoned. We never ask for boarding if delay is on our part or we fill pup is not ready to leave. Boarding is NOT available on any puppy that has had it’s ears cropped. If Ears are cropped by our vet you MUST pick pup up, or have transported to you at 8 wks of age.
BREEDABILITY, SHOWING AND AKC REGISTRATION
We do not guarantee that any puppy will be breedable. Breedability cannot be determined with certainty at 8 weeks of age.
We also do not guarantee that any puppy will become a champion or win in conformation. A puppy’s future development depends upon many things beyond our control.
All puppies are sold with Limited AKC registration unless Full AKC registration is specifically approved by the breeder.
A $3,500 puppy may qualify for Full AKC registration, but Full AKC is never automatic and is always at the breeder’s discretion.
If a puppy is sold as a pet and is not approved for breeding or conformation showing, the buyer agrees to have the dog spayed/neutered between 1 and 2 years of age, unless otherwise agreed upon with the breeder or directed differently by the buyer’s veterinarian.
Breeding a dog during its first year voids the guarantee.
A dog over one year of age is sold “as is.”
REQUIRED AKC NAME PREFIX
The word “Jordan’s” must remain as the prefix of the puppy’s AKC registered name.
Removing or changing the required prefix voids the guarantee and may result in the AKC registration being revoked.
REHOMING YOUR DOG
We want every puppy to remain in a loving family home for life.
If you ever find yourself unable to keep your dog, contact us first. We carry the right of first refusal for any dog that came from us.
If a suitable close family member or close friend is available you want to have said dog, you must obtain our written permission before transferring the dog to that person. You may not sell or rehome one of our dogs to another person without our written permission. We reserve the right to require the dog to be returned to us. We never want one of our puppies to end up in a shelter, rescue, puppy mill, neglected home, or unsafe environment.
If a dog is returned to us, the AKC registration certificate/papers must also be returned and ownership must be properly transferred back to the breeder, microchip info must also be transferred to breeder, or left “OPEN”.
Any approved transfer to a friend or family member is to be as a spayed/neutered pet without registration, unless we specifically authorize otherwise in writing.
We reserve the right to take back a dog that is found to be living in an unsafe, neglected, or inappropriate environment and to revoke registration when the terms of this agreement have been violated.
NUMBER OF DOGS / HOME ENVIRONMENT
Please do not apply for one of our puppies if you have several dogs, operate a large breeding program, or have more pets than you can properly manage.
Giant Schnauzers need individual attention, training, exercise, and socialization.
We are comfortable with responsible small hobby breeders in appropriate situations, but we do not sell to commercial breeding operations or homes where we believe the puppy may be placed into an overcrowded or pet-hoarding situation.
Our goal is to make sure every puppy receives the individual attention and care it deserves.
SELLER’S RIGHT TO REFUSE A SALE
Kristina Jordan and Jordan Giant Schnauzers/Jordan Puppies LLC reserve the right to refuse to sell a puppy to any person or household when we believe doing so is necessary to protect the puppy, its future welfare, or the integrity of our breeding program.
Providing false information on the Purchase Form, engaging in unfair business practices, filing an improper chargeback, or violating this agreement may result in removal from the deposit list and forfeiture of deposits or payments as applicable.
TRANSPORTATION / SHIPPING & PICK UP IN PERSON
Transportation is the buyer’s responsibility.
You may arrange personal pickup, or we can look into a ground transportation, a travel nanny, or can meet you at our local airport.
We do not guarantee the safety of a puppy during transportation. The buyer assumes responsibility for transportation-related problems.
As of 2026, we rarely ship puppies by airplane because too many things can go wrong. Most puppies that require transportation will travel by car with a ground transport we have used for years when possible. At moment price within lower 48 states for ground transport is $650 which is subject to change.
If you are concerned about transportation risks, you are always welcome to pick your puppy up in person.
MEET AT AIRPORT OPTION: Our home is 80 to 90 minutes south of Kansas City International Airport when no traffic. We can meet you at the airport if wanted for $120 which does include the vet health certificate required by airline when flying pup home with you.
IN PERSON PICK UP FROM OUR HOME: (Jordan Giants) is located 10 minutes from Archie, MO … You are welcome to come visit and pick up in person. Please contact us to see what the best day and time is to do that, call or text with several options in mind. Please keep in mind if you need or want a health certificate from vet it will cost $50 to $80, and we will need time to get pup into vet for that. If no health certificate, the puppy still comes with a vet paper stating it has been seen by vet and is healthy. Any amount owed can be paid in cash at pick up. This and new owner meeting us in person at airport to fly pup in cabin are the two safest options for your pet. If you pick up from our home or come visit at any time you must not bring any other animals with you. Full bio-security for the safety of our puppies and adult dogs, as well as your pet since our dogs are territorial. All pups leave with a vet paper stating they have been seen, but if you would like an actual state issued health certificate that is an additional $50-$80 and I will need to know before the litter vet check appointment at 7wks of age. It will cost more if I have to make an additional vet trip.
For personal pickup, if your puppy is 8 weeks old and the pickup time has passed and we cannot reach you by text or email, we may consider the puppy relinquished and sell it to another home. There will be no refund and we may decline to sell you another puppy.
VETERINARY EXPENSES
We do not reimburse veterinary bills.
If your puppy becomes sick, please call us. We have years of experience with Giant Schnauzers and may be able to help you discuss the situation with your veterinarian and avoid unnecessary procedures or expenses.
Some medications and procedures are not always necessary, so please contact us before assuming the worst.
If you cannot afford veterinary care or can no longer afford your puppy, you may surrender the dog back to us rather than allow the dog to go without proper care.
NEW OWNER CHECK LIST
Check to make sure all items listed are received with your puppy. Please look at front of shot record to see your pup’s microchip number and the online web address to register it on. First have your vet swipe microchip to make sure it is still working and to see if it has moved from between shoulders/neck back area to another area, this can very well happen and if chip has moved too far, like down a leg or is no longer readable a second chip maybe needed. Register your chip online at buddyid.com, chip is blank of owner contact info until you do so. Read PUPPY CARE page of our site to see what food and supplement you need, and have them already at your home for when your pup gets there. Make sure to take your shot record to your first vet visit. It is the new owners responsibility to keep vaccines and parasite prevention up to date on their pet. A good idea is to print out the HEALTH GUARANTEE off of this webpage and have your vet keep it in his files. Make your first vet appointment as soon as you know you are getting one of our puppies, appointment date needs to be within 3 business days of receiving your puppy but earlier the better so same day or next day appointment is best.
PUPPY COMES WITH:
Puppy shot record with all shots and wormings up to date., (vet health certificate-only if shipping by plane unless paid for and if no health certificate than you will receive vet paper stating litter was seen and pup is healthy), Puppy AKC registration application, Nuvet Supplements, Life’s Abundance puppy kibble. toy with litter scent on it. microchip implanted. loop leashes on hand if needed at pick up.
CUSTOMER SERVICE & FOLLOW-UP
We truly want you to be happy with your puppy and with your experience with us.
If you have a concern, problem, question, or feel that you did not receive the customer service you expected, please call or contact us directly.
I want the opportunity to hear what happened and make things right whenever reasonably possible. Buyer satisfaction is important to us, and we try to be fair in every situation.
We normally follow up by phone or email after your puppy arrives to see how your new family member is doing and answer any new-owner questions. Life on the farm can get busy, however, so if you do not hear from us, please reach out. We are here to help you with your puppy’s transition into your family.
After you receive your puppy, please also complete our Puppy Buyer Review/Testimonial so future families can learn about your experience.
If you are ever unhappy, please give us the opportunity to address the problem directly before posting a negative review.
